The EU continues to support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, an UNIAN correspondent in Brussels reported quoting Deputy Secretary General for the External Action Service Helga Schmidt as saying in the European Parliament.
"EU continues to firmly support Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty while pushing and supporting the complete implementation of Minsk agreements,” she said.
Schmidt believes that, “despite these very challenging circumstances Ukraine is achieving a progress on its reform agenda.”
“But there is a lot left to do. Reform in judicial system needs to be completed, on the waiting list for reform is also security sector, publics finances and electoral legislation,” the official said.

The European Commission “now welcomes forward proposal for legislation to implement visa free regime,” said Schmidt.
