Head of Division for bilateral relations with the Eastern Partnership countries in the European External Action Service Dirk Schuebel announced on Tuesday the Ukraine-EU summit to be held in May, 2016, an UNIAN correspondent in Brussels reports.
“The next big event is the EU-Ukraine summit, which is preliminarily scheduled for May,” Schuebel said at the European Parliament today, at the session of EU-Ukraine Association Committee.
Speaking about the agenda of the EU-Ukraine relations, the EU diplomat said that the priority is the issue of application of a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area. "It has been a very important step,” said the official.
