The European Commission will submit "very soon" a legislative proposal to provide Ukraine a visa-free regime with the European Union, while Kyiv will have to fulfill its obligations in the first quarter of 2016, Head of Division for bilateral relations with the Eastern Partnership countries in the European External Action Service Dirk Schuebel said on Tuesday, an UNIAN correspondent in Brussels reported.
"There is no concrete date set yet for the legislative proposal, but it should happen very soon," stated the European diplomat during a Ukraine-EU Association Committee meeting at the European Parliament.
