Unidentified attackers opened fire at the armored cash vehicle, reportedly servicing Reiffeisen Bank Aval, in the heart of Odesa late Thursday. A cash collector and one of the attackers were killed in a shootout.
"Another victim, a cash collector, was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds. The investigation continues," reads a police report.
At the moment, there has been no confirmed information on what valuables were taken by two armed robbers, who remain at loose.
Police experts continue crime scene investigation.
