As UNIAN reported earlier, in January 2016, Poroshenko proposed setting up an international mechanism in a Geneva Plus format to retake Crimea. "I'm positive that 'Geneva Plus' format would be the best to set up such a mechanism: with the participation of our partners from the EU, the United States and, possibly, the Budapest Memorandum signatory states," the president said.
