MP not working over creating his own party?
MP Anatoliy Hrytsenko, head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee for National Security and Defense and ex-Defense Minister of Ukraine, claims he is not working over creating his own political party at present.
According to Hrytsenko’s press-service, he said this answering questions of journalists.
“I’m not working over creating any political party and I have deliberately turned down four proposals to head one of already existing parties”, he said.
At the same time, according to him, he has been working towards another direction: “to unite people from other parties, as well as non-party members, on principles of professionalism, efficiency, active civil position, common sense, without narrow-party or far-fetched political clichés”.
“Can you name at least three-four parties with a clear ideological platform out of those 153 [existing in Ukraine]? I can’t as well, and I don’t want to waste my time on that”, he stressed.
According to him, people should be united by work within frames of a single common aim. “As for me, this aim is: first – to increase living standards and quality, and second – to enhance security of people, families, houses, environment, business, state”, A.Hrytsenko claimed.
