Yefremov voices party`s proposal
Party of Regions faction has intent to propose candidacy of Oleksander Lavrynovych for post of parliament’s Speaker.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Verkhovna Rada regulations committee head Oleksander Yefremov voiced the faction’s position in the session hall on Wednesday.
“We did not hold any consultations before the Speaker [Yatseniuk - UNIAN] was ousted”, he said, adding that the consultations will start today.
“We have a perfect candidacy of Oleksander Lavrynovych… If the parliament votes for him, we will be pleased to see him on the post”, O.Yefremov noted.
