Kyiv residents block traffic in center of the city

Kyiv residents have blocked traffic in the center of the city pressing to lower tariffs on utilities and public conveyances.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, the picket participants have occupied the whole square in front of the city hall. They are holding flags of the Katerynchuk Bloc, BYuT, the Communist Party, People’s Self-Defense, other parties and NGOs.

Representatives of different political forces, who organized the today’s protest action in Kyiv, claim that several lawmakers came to support their demands.

In particular, the rally participants demand to reduce tariffs on public conveyances and utilities.
