Klimkin begins visit to Washington with laying flowers to Shevchenko monument

Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin has begun his visit to Washington, D.C., with laying flowers to the monument of Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko, according to the ministry's press service.

Klimkin paid tribute to the Great Kobzar on the eve of his 203rd birthday anniversary, the press service said.
