A 4x4 vehicle has ploughed through a group of pedestrians on Westminster bridge, then crashing into the Westminster Palace railing, BBC News reports.
Another incident involving a knife attack on a police officer also happened in the immediate vicinity, according to BBC News.
The knife-wielding attacker was reportedly shot by law enforcers.
Metropolitan Police say they are treating it as a terrorist incident "until we know otherwise," BBC News reports.
