With their attempts to justify the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia certain politicians are turning into accomplices of Putin's crimes, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin told Germany’s Bild, commenting on the recent statement by the leader of the German Free Democratic Party (FDP), Christian Lindner, that the Crimea issue should be temporarily "sealed," Deutsche Welle reports.
"We are very concerned that some politicians now and then try to ignore or even justify obvious violations of international law, thereby encouraging the aggressor to commit more crimes, and turning into accomplices in Putin's crimes," Klimkin said, according to DW.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister stressed that it was necessary to continue fighting for Crimea liberation using all political and diplomatic means.
