Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius is outraged by the Russian statement on arming Ukraine.
"Russia says that US decision to supply weapons to Ukraine will encourage Kiev to use force. I can't stop wondering- are there any limits of cynicism? Aggressor complains that victim still resisting," he wrote via Twitter on December 23.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Russian officials and lawmakers warned Saturday that the U.S. decision to provide Ukraine with lethal weapons will only fuel hostilities and raise casualties from the conflict in the country's east.
