Azarov to be elected chairman of Party of Regions at today’s convention – Rybak

Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov will be elected chairman of the Party of Regions during the 12th convention of the party, which takes place in Kyiv today.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, lawmaker from the Party of Regions Volodymyr Rybak said this to journalists.

“Without any hesitation, Victor Yanukovych remains honorary leader of the Party of Regions, but M. Azarov will be elected chairman of the party”, said V. Rybak.
