Lytvyn said that renaming of BYUT faction is illegal

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn says that renaming of the BYUT faction into “BYUT-Batkivshchyna” is illegal.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this at the session of the parliament.

The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine reminded that early in September (September 8 – UNIAN) said about changing of the name of the BYUT faction. He noted that it was done only on the base of protocol of the sitting of the faction.
