US Ambassador asks to meet with Tymoshenko in pre-trial prison

United States Ambassador to Ukraine John Tefft asks to give him an opportunity to visit Yulia Tymoshenko in Lukyanivska pre-trial prison.

According to Ukrainska Pravda with a reference to BBC, the United State Embassy addressed the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry with this request.

The press service of the Embassy of the USA confirmed that the Embassy addressed the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry with this request. They received an answer that this request was sent to Pechersk Court.

There is not decision of the court yet.
