According to an UNIAN correspondent, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Konstyantyn Hryshchenko said this at the news conference in Moscow today.
“We believe that today, unfortunately, there are no real possibilities for full-fledged participation in the Customs Union because of the fact that Ukraine is a member of WTO, and our three partner states are not”, said K. Hryshchenko.
According to his words, representatives, who are responsible for economic issues, hold negotiations concerning elaboration of conditions of cooperation between the states.
K. Hryshchenko hopes that in process of the negotiations arguments of the sides will be heard and a formula, which will allow developing relations between two states on the basis of strategic partnership, will be found.
The Foreign Minister of Ukraine noted that Ukraine has not received yet a formal answer to proposition on cooperation with the Customs Union in “three plus one” format and the corresponding negotiations continue not only with Russia but also with other members of the Customs Union – Belarus and Kazakhstan.
