Yushchenko became the millionth person to have signed
Victor Yushchenko became the millionth person to have signed the petition against the immunity of members of parliament in Kharkiv, according to the President`s press-office.
"It was an honour for me to be the millionth person to sign the petition against the legislative immunity and I am also happy that hundreds, thousands, millions of Ukrainians insists on the repeal of immunity," said the President in his interview in Kharkiv.
The Head of State is sure that citizens` active position in favour of immunity repeal is a very right step. "It means the nation understands that via the repeal of immunity we are moving towards equality of the citizens," Victor Yushchenko said.
