Lawmakers want to prohibit Ukrainians to smoke in public places. Fines for an infringement make up UAH 10 thousands.

According to TSN, the draft law has already passed the first round. However, there are opponents of this draft law both in the session hall of the VRU and at the streets. The list of places, where it is prohibited to smoke, includes restaurants, subways, bus stations, hospitals and stadiums.
