Former Acting Defense Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Ivashchenko was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment.

In accordance with a sentence, V. Ivashchenko was deprived of the second rank of state official and right to take organizational- executive and administrative- economic posts in institutions, companies of all forms of ownership during three years.
