Yushchenko instructed the leaders of BYuT and OU-PSD to meet
President Victor Yushchenko has instructed the leaders of BYuT and Our Ukraine-People’s Self- Defense to meet on October 5 at 1 p.m. to approve a draft agreement on the formation of a democratic majority in Ukraine’s parliament, according to the President`s press-office.
Yushchenko’s key demand is that they must restore the system of checks and balances, undermined by constitutional reforms passed in 2004 and this year’s Law on the Cabinet of Ministers.
