US Vice President Joe Biden expressed his concern about the parliamentary elections in Ukraine to President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych.
According to “Svoboda” radio, in a telephone talk Joe Biden asked V. Yanukovych to ensure fair and transparent completion of the electoral process.
Also the US Vice President called upon Ukraine to confirm adherence to democracy and to stop selective persecution of political opponents.
Joe Biden phoned to V. Yanukovych in order to thank him for congratulation on the occasion of re-election of President of the USA Barack Obama for the second term.
