Ukraine has started gas supplies from Europe through territory of Hungary.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this to journalists today within a framework of official visit to Hungary.
According to his words, it is significant that a breakthrough came from Hungary and therefore he thanked Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban for his principled approach that enabled to complete long and difficult talks with the positive result and to prepare the gas supply technically.
He underlined that he also discussed with V. Orban an issue of expanding of possibilities of gas transit to Ukraine.
