President meets OU-PSD Bloc members
President Victor Yushchenko met members of "Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense" just on a threshold of the Verkhovna Rada of the sixth convocation work start, according to the President`s press-office.
During the meeting V. Yushchenko expressed his assurance that wise politics clearly realize their responsibility for development of the state. To his mind their consolidation around principal national priorities is a question of great importance.
“We are united by the idea of independent and indivisible Ukrainian State and we all have much to do in this direction. Subject of unity is top rated. Let us not repeat preceding mistakes”, - President said.
V. Yushchenko expressed his hope that politics elected to Verkhovna Rada realize their main goal: “political stabilization in the country”.
