The Central Electoral Commission of Belarus informed about death of 54-year-okd Svetlana Khinevich, who had been responsible for carrying out of elections and referendums since 2011.
According to the BBC Russian Service, her son found the body of Svetlana Khinevich with knife wounds in her apartment on August 4.
There are no other details. Investigation is being carried out.
