Leader of the Batkivshchyna faction Arseniy Yatsenyuk called upon all those present “to protect Maidan” from a dispersal.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he organized a press conference urgently in the National Resistance Headquarters.
Yatsenyuk noted that all metro stations in the center of the city are blocked. Berkut fighters and Interior Forces are moving in the direction to the center.
Yatsenyuk addressed journalists to come out at the streets because “we will be protecting our Maidan now”.
