Ukraine will not try to stop Russian occupation of Crimea by force in order not to endanger its eastern borders.
Acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov said this in an interview to Agence France-Presse.
“We can not start a military operation in Crimea, because we will endanger the eastern border and Ukraine will be defenceless”, he said.
He also said that he considers the Crimean referendum faked beforehand.
