17 people were killed at Instytutska during the confrontation with law enforcement officers.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov said this at press conference concerning the preliminary results of investigation of killing people in Kyiv on February 18-20, 2014.
“According to our calculations, 17 people perished during the shooting at Instytutska Street, from side of October palace”, - noted Avakov.
He added that a special company of the Berkut with yellow strips on sleeves under guidance of major Dmytro Sadovnik worked at Instytutska Street, from side of October palace.
