Terrorists shot down Ukrainian military helicopter Mi-24 from a large-calibre machinegun in Slaviansk.
Acting chief of the Press and Information Department of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine Bohdan Senik said this to UNIAN.
“Helicopter Mi-24 of Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was shot down from a large-calibre machinegun”, - said Senik.
He also added that the crew of the helicopter is alive. “The crew of the helicopter is alive. The helicopter fell in a water body and it saved pilots’ lives.
