Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has continued his telephone consultations with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the presidential press service has reported.
The two sides discussed the situation in Donetsk region, in particular, the implementation of the Minsk agreements ahead of the upcoming European Council meeting on October 23-24 in Brussels.
The Ukrainian president and German chancellor also discussed the results of tripartite consultations on the gas price dispute between Ukraine, Russia and the EU, and coordinated their activities for the discussion of this issue on October 29.
