One Ukrainian soldier has been killed and another 18 injured in the conflict zone in Ukraine’s Donbas region in the last 24 hours, the press center of Ukraine’s Anti-Terrorist Operation headquarters said on Friday.
According to the press center, Ukrainian artillery units performed 18 firing operations to destroy a number of the Russian-backed militants’ firing positions.
As reported earlier, on Thursday, November 20, the insurgents shelled Shastya, a small town in the Donetsk region, for about two hours. Three people were wounded after the explosion of a shell near the building of a disused supermarket. Two lyceum students and one woman who were passing by the building when the shell hit were injured by the explosion.
