The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine should establish a national tribunal to prosecute those responsible for shootings during the Maidan Revolution and military events in the Donbas, SBU Chief Valentyn Nalyvaychenko said on Friday during a meeting in Kyiv with the families of killed activists and lawyers on Maidan Nezalezhnosti Square, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine should create a National Tribunal on this deliberate large-scale crime, which began [during] the Maidan Revolution and moved further to the east of Ukraine," he said, adding that Ukrainian legislation already has such precedents.
