Ukrainian armed forces have been involved in a battle with sabotage and reconnaissance groups of Russian-backed insurgents, with the enemy suffering losses, the press center of Ukraine’s Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) headquarters reported on Wednesday on its Facebook page.
"The sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the Russian-backed insurgents were discovered as a result of counter diversionary measures. The saboteurs provoked a fight with the Ukrainian soldiers," the report reads.
As a result of the fighting, the saboteurs suffered losses - killed and wounded," the headquarters added.
