Shelling by militants caused significant structural damage to the residential and industrial buildings in Avdiivka, head of the Information Resistance group Dmytro Tymchuk wrote on Facebook on Friday.
"The local population believes that their houses were struck by the Ukrainian armed forces, while objective data about the shelling, including the trajectory of the projectiles, indicate that the strikes were carried out by the artillery of Russian-backed insurgents," the report reads.
