One Ukrainian soldier has been killed and another one injured in the Donbas conflict zone in the last 24 hours, National Security and Defense Council spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.
"Over the last day, we have lost one Ukrainian hero, and another one was injured as a result of military clashes," he said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Russian-backed insurgents have attacked Ukrainian army positions 16 times over the last 24 hours.
