Three Ukrainian soldiers have been killed and another wounded in the Donbas conflict zone over the last 24 hours, National Security and Defense Council spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.
Lysenko said one of the soldiers had been killed near the village of Nikishin, while the other two were killed in the vicinity of Donetsk airport near the village of Pisky.
"In the last day we lost three Ukrainian soldiers,” Lysenko said.
“One was killed by a sniper near the village of Nikishin, another died at Donetsk airport, and the third was killed near the village of Pisky in an exchange of small arms fire. Another soldier was wounded.”
