A group of U.S. Army officers is expected to visit Ukraine this week to assess the situation in Ukraine’s Donbas conflict zone, Ukrainian television news broadcaster Channel 5 has reported.
As well as assessing the situation in the east of the country, the officers will discuss the assistance required by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to spokesman of the General Staff of Ukraine Vladislav Seleznev.
He also said that Ukraine has received another shipment from Australia of winter clothes for Ukrainian soldiers.
