An active phase of mobilization in Ukraine will be conducted on January 28 and 30, with new recruits being sent to training centers, press secretary of the Ministry of Defense Viktoria Kushnir said on Monday.
"The ministry has completely determined what is required of the national economy for the mobilization," Kushnir said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the mobilization in 2015 will be conducted in three stages, from January to August. More than 200,000 Ukrainians are to be mobilized in the Ukrainian armed forces this year.
The government also plans to conduct the military conscription of 40,000 Ukrainians in 2015.
