290 U.S. servicemen from 173rd Airborne Brigade Group stationed in Grafenwoehr arrived in Lviv International Airport in western Ukraine to train Ukrainian military troops, according to the US Army Garrison Bavaria officials.
The information was later confirmed by a US Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt, Ukraine Today reports.
On March 29, Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov stated that U.S. troops were to take part in military exercises in Yavorivskiy region near Lviv.
