The Ukrainian government should simplify the procedure used when residents of militant-seized parts of the Donbas enter government-controlled areas, Donetsk lawyer Yevhen Kuzmin said on Thursday, commenting on the current situation with the procedure of registration of documents for crossing the demarcation line.
"The current system of registration of permits does not cause hatred among people, but causes confusion and misunderstanding of why our country doesn’t accept us - it is easier to travel to Russia than back home in Ukraine," Kuzmin said.
"Our country must still take care so that people who want to go to unoccupied territory can do this easy," he added
