The video of 23-year-old Kyiv cop Vladyslav Sosedko playing piano in the historical part of the capital was viewed over 200,000 times in just five days, while the overall public support for the brand new patrol police force is peaking.
Seeking to meet the highest European standards in law enforcement, rebranding and renovating the police is one of the few visible reforms undertaken by the Ukrainian government, also aimed at breaking away from public perception of police as the Soviet-style corruption-prone agency, according to Ukraine Today.
The video clip adds up to police's positive public image.
In an interview with Ukraine Today’s partner news agency TSN Vladyslav Sosedko says, his performance was a spontaneous move.
