This is the exclusive video, shot on June 25 2014, of Nadiya Savchenko, the Ukrainian pilot currently being held in Russia on charges of complicity in the murder of two Russian journalists.
The footage shows the 34-year-old just one week after she was captured by militants in east Ukraine and forcibly taken across the border. Obtained by Ukrainian broadcaster TSN, the video shows the first official interrogation of Savchenko on Russian territory, according to Ukraine Today.
Ilya Novikov, Savchenko's lawyer: "What you don't see in the shot is that it's a two-room suite and in the room next door are two armed guards. Not only did they not let Nadiya leave the room, they didn't even let her go up to the window."
