He worries about preparation to Euro-2012
President Victor Yushchenko wrote a letter to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko drawing her attention to the situation around reconstruction of Olimpiysky National Sports Complex in Kyiv, according to the President`s press-office.
Referring to the information, provided to him by Head of National Agency on preparation to EURO 2012 Evhen Chervonenko and ArchAsia Design Group Ltd. leadership President expressed worries about Ministry for Family, Youth and Sports protracting implementation of the project. He also reminded that despite the bid to reconstruct the Olympisky has been held one and a half month ago, the works at the stadium have not yet started mainly because of the Ministry trying to revoke the results of the bid.
Therefore Victor Yushchenko asked Yulia Tymoshenko to personally investigate the situation and to apply all necessary measures so that this obstacle to preparation to EURO 2012 was eliminated. The response on the situation President expects within a week.
