Almost UAH 94 million has already been paid to 21,000 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for participation in combat operations in the Donbas conflict zone, the press secretary of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine Oleksiy Chornobay said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"We continue paying monetary compensations to servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who participate in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). At the moment, almost UAH 94 million has already been paid to 21,000 Ukrainian soldiers for the direct participation in hostilities," Chornobay said.
