Ukraine is ready to exchange at least fifty suspected separatists for the 25 Ukrainians held in captivity of the Russian-backed separatist forces, according to Iryna Gerashchenko, the first deputy chairwoman of the Ukrainian Parliament, Ukraine Today reported.
According to Iryna Gerashchenko, Ukraine put forth the initiative to exchange the captives ahead of Easter. Now, she says, the Ukrainian side awaits an answer from the self-proclaimed leaders of the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Ukraine Today wrote.
