In 2008 Ukrainian agrarians expect to harvest nearly 5 mln tonnes of sunflower, reported Sergey Melnik, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, on July, 29, according to APK-Inform.
According to him, expected yield will total 13 c/ha. But forecasted crop value can be changed due to weather conditions, stated S. Melnik.
