By corn bug
For today damaged by corn bug whet is found out in the elevators of 8 regions in Ukraine, in particular in Donetskaya, Nikolayevskaya, Odesskaya, Zaporozhskaya, Dnepopetrovskaya and Cherkasskaya oblasts, according to APK-Inform. As it was informed by the source in the Ministry of Agrarian Policy in Ukraine, about 1.5 mln tonnes from the total volume of wheat is damaged by this bug (1-16%).
The issue on introduction of alterations into the current All-Union State Standard concerning wheat with the purpose of adjustment of this problem (in particular, while exporting grain) has not been decided yet.
However, Ministry of Agrarian Policy doesn`t dramatize the current situation. They try to find the compromise settlement, informed market participants.
