The sides discussed development of national armed forces
President Victor Yushchenko met today with Defense Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov. At the meeting sides discussed development of national armed forces, according to the President`s press-office.
Defense Minister reported to President on implementation of President’s Decree of March 4 “On urgent measures on development of Ukrainian Armed Forces”.
Also Yury Yekhanurov informed Victor Yushchenko on implementation of State program of armed forces development in 2006-2011.
Other participants of the meeting were NSDC Secretary Raisa Bohatyryova, Chief of the General Staff Serhiy Kyrychenko, deputy Chief of Staff of Presidential Secretariat Ihor Pukshyn.
