The Minister of Agricultural Policy said
Ukraine has harvested nearly 44 mln tonnes of grain, Juriy Melnik, the Minister of Agricultural Policy, said on September 12, according to APK-Inform.
Even taking into account carryover storage, the total volume of grain will total 54.5 mln tonnes. Domestic grain needs will be 6.6 mln tonnes, the cattle breeding industry will require 14.7 mln tonnes, and exports will use 20 mln tonnes. The expected remainder will total 5.5 mln tonnes of grain, according to the Minister.
