Chernomyrdin: stop picking on those hands of Kremlin

Ambassador of Russia to Ukraine Victor Chernomyrdin plays down the rumors that an eventual coalition of BYuT and Party of Regions will be a pro-Kremlin one. He claimed this to a press conference in Kyiv.

“Today they use every opportunity to mention the Kremlin hand. Why they pick on those hands? We do not stretch our hands anywhere but to offer help”, Chermonyrdin said.

According to him, all the rumors appear due to “weakness and small intellect of some Ukrainian politicians”. In the opinion of the Ambassador, the Ukrainian nation will itself analyze and draw conclusions from reasons of the coalition collapse in the Verkhovna Rada.

The Ambassador is convinced that Ukraine and Russia should better focus on their commercial-economic collaboration. “We support normal and pragmatic relations with Ukraine”, V.Chernomyrdin said.
