To replenish local budgets
The Cabinet of Ministers proposes to introduce a tax on wealth since November 1.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko claimed this to journalists at a press conference Wednesday.
The respective amendments into the law on immovable property were adopted at a government’s session today.
Yulia Tymoshenko stressed that the tax on “huge villas and large allotments” will allow to significantly replenish local budgets.
